Weekly Update (Apr 30, 2016)

Hi guys, although a bit quiet on the social media, we're heavy pressed working on armor and planet landing / LOD system. We''ll be starting to post some of the sets we've been creating, and hopefully wrap up the whole space travel part.
As soon as we're out of the nitty-gritty 'behind the scenes' work, progress will be more visual.
One of the interesting areas we had to explore was how to handle long dresses -- and although we came up with relatively usable 'bake to bones' solution for dresses, overall workflow would be way too lengthy for the two of us to tackle; so we decided to park that idea, and settle for much simpler approach, and rig dresses the same way pants do, and just make sure we don't model them too close nor too far from the leg.

Having a lot of fun with the armor at the moment. Here is a sample of fully modular (helmet, shoulders, gloves, chest, leggings, boots) set, that we intend to use as one of our higher level ones.
